Comments
"Linda has completed the inCYST PCOS professional
training program. During the training she was diligent
and thorough about understanding the information in the
course. She has been active and enthusiastic about participating
in the social networking aspects of the inCYST network.
She is a dietitian I would highly recommend to any person
seeking help for their PCOS...or any health professional
who is looking for an informed and competent resource in
the area of nutritional endocrinology. It's been a pleasure
to know that Connecticut is in such wonderful professional
hands!"

What is Medical Nutrition Therapy
(MNT)?
Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) is the development and
provision of a nutritional treatment or therapy based on
a detailed assessment of a person‚'s medical history, psychosocial
history, physical examination, and dietary history. It
is used to treat an illness or condition, or as a means
to prevent or delay disease or complications from diseases
such as diabetes. The purpose of the assessment is to:
• Determine the person’s need for nutrition therapy
• Develop a nutrition therapy plan
• Determine the best method to initiate the nutrition therapy
• Evaluate the effectiveness of nutrition therapy
