I provide individual nutrition counseling for women and men of all ages. My areas of specialty include:

Eating Disorders/Disordered Eating

Nutrition therapy provided by a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist trained in the are of eating disorders plays a significant role in the treatment and management of these conditions, including anorexia nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, Orthorexia, Other Specified Feeding or Eating Disorder (OSFED) and Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID)

Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)

Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) is a functional bowel disorder (FBD). The low FODMAP diet is a research-supported approach to eating that provides symptom control associated with IBS. Working with a FODMAP diet trained Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist is recommended prior to starting a low FODMAP diet

Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS)

PCOS is an endocrine disorder effecting women. Registered Dietitians/Nutritionists play an important role in helping women with PCOS optimize their health and wellness through gentle nutrition and compassion with self.

Intuitive Eating

Intuitive Eating is a path toward rebuilding a healthy relationship with food, mind and body. It is a personal process of honoring health by listening to the messages of the body in order to meet your physical and psychological needs. Intuitive Eating is not a diet or food plan. There is no counting of calories, carbs, points or macros. Intuitive Eating is comprised of 10 principles and was created by 2 dietitians, Evelyn Tribole and Elyse Resch.

Appointment Guidelines

Welcome to Caley Nutrition. I look forward to helping you achieve your nutrition goals. In order to meet your needs and provide you with the best care, the following guidelines have been established.

Session Length

Initial sessions generally run 90 minutes. Follow-up visits are 45-60 minutes.

Payment and Insurance Coverage

Payment is expected at the time of your session, this includes any co-payments. I accept credit cards and checks. Checks can be made payable to: Caley Nutrition.

I am a participating provider with several health insurance companies. If you have health insurance, your policy may offer coverage for nutrition therapy/counseling. I will be happy to assist you in determining coverage for nutrition therapy. However, please understand that it is your responsibility to pay for your nutrition session if your insurance plan does not.

Cancellations

Your appointment time has been set aside for you. Kindly give 24 hours notice if you need to cancel your appointment. By giving this notice, I am able to schedule someone else for the session time. without adequate notice you may be charged a cancellation fee.
